BOOK DESIGN
Clients: Hallmark Cards, Jostens, Christian Youth Theater, personal

I was the scrapbook queen before scrapbooking was even a verb. My last position with Hallmark Cards was "National Scrapbooking Spokesperson," which involved personal, TV and radio appearances where I promoted the scrapbooking kits I was designing for Hallmark as well as the appeal of the emerging industry (1996).

Leading into that position, I was a Creative Product Designer for Hallmark's "Image Gallery," a new business concept that dropped customer's photos into beautiful layouts that were ahead of their time (1994) in concept and delivery. We designed hundreds of products, and I directed the creation of the computer/customer interface for a flagship storefront in Chicago.

I continued to evolve a little ahead of the industry, getting into digital photo books (I was literally running out of closet space to store my many big scrapbooks.) I went to work for Jostens Yearbooks just as they were developing their "OurHubbub" line of photo books, and I have since made over 100 digital books on various sites.

A few designs from Hallmark's "Image Gallery" project.
