A little sparkle and bling — she's a graphics queen. She brings  a beautiful breath of design talent to our team and company. Her experience has helped us gain great momentum when it comes to branding, marketing and design. She is an incredibly supportive, talented, poised and polished designer. She has given life to company events with thought-out branding and precise execution. There is a saying in the creative industry — "Design is in the details." I don't think there is a more accurate description of Cathryn Huff.

I can’t tell you the relief we experienced hearing that someone of your character and caliber is coming on board to help us through our little design fiasco. Pure gratitude from my end! Thank you so much, Cathryn! We can’t stop remarking on how lucky we are to have had your brilliant contributions!

Cathryn, I am a bit overwhelmed in a good way. Your vision has surpassed mine exponentially. It has been a long time since I looked at a draft of something....and had tears come into my eyes. Thank you.

Hello Cathryn, I want to let you know how much we here at the Fredericksburg District appreciate the wonderful work and guidance you provided for our Heartwood ministry. We recognize that you produced our brochure and logo in the midst of preparation for Annual Conference, which is unquestionably a hectic time for the Communications office. Those of us with little to no experience in logo and branding work felt very intimidated with the prospect of creating a meaningful image that would represent our ministry. The final product you produced for us has been well received, immediately placed into use, and is quickly becoming the a recognizable symbol of quality UM ministry. As you will recall, the very rough brochures we produced in house served as an acceptable prototype, but did not put forward the best representation of our vision. On the contrary, your brochure was a high-quality product that readers could understand and embrace. Thanks again for your talent for the Heartwood ministry.

Rev. Ted Smith
Fredericksburg District Superintendent, VAUMC

I am the director of 2 businesses, and the only person I ever trust to create all of my logos and graphic designs is Cathryn Huff. The branding of my organizations is crucial to their success, and Cathryn's ingenious designs are identifiable throughout the community. She creates designs that are the perfect balance of simplicity and effectiveness, where branding recognition is a MUST! She is wonderful to work with, as she is more than willing to create options until I am completely satisfied (though I usually love her first option). Cathryn is a creative professional, who is a diamond amongst stones. My businesses mean everything to me, and how I present them to the community means everything to its success, and with that, I only trust Cathryn Huff.

Just a note of gratitude for your generous and creative support of Weems Artfest. Your vision and creativity brought a new standard and sophistication to an already amazing event! It was such a treat to be able to work with you once again. I look forward to the opportunity to do so in the future.

Cathryn, We knew you had done a great job with this communication piece for Bishop Cho in the summer. How nice to have this organization affirm that as well. Congratulations on this award. Affirmation is not necessary for most people but it is one of the little bright spots of any given day. You are well deserving, as demonstrated by the fact that Young Jin Cho is now Bishop Cho, and sitting in Richmond this morning!

You were wonderful in that presentation yesterday! You had all of your information well thought out and answered all questions in a relaxed, informal, and rather remarkable manner. Don was very impressed with the disciplined manner he now knows exists in developing IG product. Thanks so much for working on this over the weekend. It was really important that we convince him that we are aware of the need for breadth, scope, and lots of neat stuff in this line. Feel free to pour forth all energies against the plan, unencumbered by me, however, I will be available should you need an opinion or two.

a memo from Don Dubowski
former Creative Director at Hallmark Cards

Here at Hallmark she was most prized for her creativity and fine sense of aesthetics. She could effectively direct a number of different artistic styles. Her strongest technical skills were her own design sense and her ability to understand the business potential and how to develop brand new products, never before seen in the market. Her strongest professional work style trait was her ability to work with many different personalities and functions and to build a sense of team. Cathryn was considered a high potential employee and would have been developed as a manager of creative designers or art directors in the future, but she had to relocate out-of-state to follow her husband's business opportunities. I personally would love to work with her again.

I sure am grateful for all that you've done for us over the years. You've been amazingly flexible, accommodating, and of course always produced a top-notch product for us.

I've worked with Cathryn over the past 3 years and she was an incredible asset to our yearbook business at Jostens. Her creativity and design expertise was always well-received by our schools. Our customers looked forward to working with her from year to year, and she made them all look like professionals because she herself is a true professional. When she was involved in the creative process for a yearbook cover, theme and layout, the book was likely to sell out at the school. Cathryn was great with yearbooks and also handled our own marketing materials extremely well. From school mascots/logos, holiday cards and corporate campaigns to little touches such as t-shirts, goody bags and more, Cathryn always has the right touch and creative solution. She works well with others and helped our business grow over the years. She's trusted, kind and well liked by those she interacts with during any project from start to finish. She always works hard to get the job done at the highest level.
